The stories told in the book are through the words of the parents, the boys and staff, who took part in a research project by Denis Halliday (instrumental in setting up Boys’ Town in Engadine, Australia).
The approach used, assists parents to be partners in helping adolescent boys exercise self control, develop self esteem and take responsibility for the direction of their lives.
